1. convert organic wastewaters to biofuel and save fossil fuels
Natural organics in wastewater contain solar energy from photo-synthesis. This solar energy can be recovered very efficiently by the right consortia of micro-organisms.
Since 1977, we convert a broad range of medium to ultra-high loaded organic wastewaters to biomethane up to 20 times faster as compared to today’s classic anaerobic digestion (AD) technology. This biomethane can generate heat and power instead of fossil fuels or can be injected in the natural gas grid, compressed to bio-CNG or to bio-LNG.
Our latest AD+™ technology converts up to 99% of these organics thereby boosting the biomethane yield and profit while reducing the wastewater load and treatment costs (energy consumption, waste production, …) up to 100 times.
In addition, truly sustainable water reuse at the lowest costs is achieved by our proven AS+™ technology (new or retrofit upgrade) which captures, cracks and biodegrades though organics, nitrogen compounds and color which would otherwise pass through any other biotreatment and would irreversibly foul the delicate and expensive NF and RO membranes used to produce pure water.

2. capture CO2 to convert your wastewater and save chemicals
Up till now, CO2 is emitted into our planet’s atmosphere from various sources:  flue/exhaust gas, cooking, ventilation, off-gas from different industries, …  
Since 2014, we capture this CO2 as well as CO2 from biogas purification and use this to neutralize wastewater, enhance its conversion to biomethane and clean water while reducing its salinity as compared to using mineral and organic chemicals.

By integrating both ways, the wastewater treatment plants upgrade to profit centers that reduce your (or your client's) CO2 footprint, energy and chemical costs.

Recently we debottlenecked and ramped up an existing anaerobic digestion (AD) plant on agri-food waste in close collaboration with its operating team.
